ACTING THAT IS INCLUSIVE FOR BEGINNERS & EXPERTS

CURRICULUMS TO SUIT ALL

We have tailored our acting course to both beginners and advanced actors by having two separate classes that cater for both. It suits anyone serious about screen performance, from absolute first-timers to seasoned professionals.

Beginners (Level 1) master the fundamentals, breath-powered voice, clear objectives, precise mark-hitting, camera awareness, while the Advanced actors sharpen the same essentials to hone the skills they have already learnt. Small class sizes and multiple tutors ensure less advanced students receive instant support, whilst our more advanced students push themselves in our tiered exercises taking on: extra dialogue, deeper subtext, longer takes and complex emotional shifts.

Level 1 will concentrate on training beginners in the basics of acting (with a bias towards screen technique) with the chance to move up to the advanced class after a successful term if our teachers agree that you’re ready.

Our Advanced students will work on more detailed emotional performance for the camera leading to a filmcase in the summer term.

This means we are confident you will fit in no matter your acting experience or ability.

WORLD-CLASS WEEKEND ACTING TRAINING

EVERY SUNDAY

Our 27-week Acting Course runs every Sunday (3 x 9-week terms), keeping weekdays free for school, work or other commitments. Each weekend session covers all or at least one of: scene study, on-camera technique, voice and movement, and character development, all taught by working stage and screen professionals.

New guest tutors and fresh scripts appear each term so returning actors keep advancing while newcomers settle in quickly. As well as working weekly with our wolrd-class acting coach, students get the chance tp work on professional self-tapes under the guidance of guest casting directors and agents. They have gone on to perform in TV series, films and commericals, proving that classroom skills carry straight into real industry settings.

Small class sizes provide individual coaching, and an atmosphere of respect and positivity lets every actor thrive.

With scholarships available, MX Masterclass makes world-class acting training truly accessible to talented students from any background.
